Every Saturday and Sunday, we take divers under the calm surface of the water at the Denver Downtown Aquarium to see these cool toothy creatures as few do. This gives you a chance to get up close and personal with these fabulous critters without having to pack a bag or go through a TSA pat down to get there.
Cage diving with sharks is an exciting and exhilarating experience you’ll never forget. While it’s natural to feel a bit apprehensive about it, our certified diving guides will walk you through every step of the process to ensure your comfort and safety. This makes it a great opportunity to experience cage diving in the safe and fully controlled confines of the aquarium. The dive will give you a chance to see five different species of sharks, barracuda, turtles, sawfish and other awesome creatures.
Spaces are filling up fast as word spreads of the cage diving experience we offer. We encourage you to sign up early so that you don’t miss out on the fun. Of course, if you are planning to head out into the deep blue sea after your dive, it’s also an opportunity to stop by A-1 Scuba first to get the fins, mask, and other gear you want to take with you on your trip and give it a try in their onsite pool before you go.
The dive at the Downtown Denver Aquarium is absolutely safe and controlled, and the only thing that may come out of the water with a bite in it is going to be a (little) one in your wallet – not because of the low price of $100, but because the experience is so thrilling that many of our participants decide they want to go cage diving with sharks again in the open waters of the world.
