We are excited to announce the release of the highly anticipated SSI Explorers Program. This engaging, educational program replaces the Scuba Rangers program as SSI’s aquatic experience program for kids as young as 6 years old.
Kids too young to receive their scuba, freediving, or mermaid certifications can join Emma and Nico on exciting adventures with their marine friends.
The comprehensive children’s manual is very engaging, with colorful cartoon drawings and authentic ocean images for this young audience. Emma, Nico, and Star, the starfish, guide children throughout the manual’s educational content in a fun and engaging way, using Spike, the shark, as their equipment expert and Shelly, the sea turtle, as the ocean environment advocate.
The adventure continues at the Downtown Aquarium and more…
SSI Explorers start off by being introduced to the importance of protecting and preserving our oceans by becoming Blue Oceans Explorers. In the First Session, your child will learn why our oceans are important, about the world’s five oceans, and what they can do to help protect our oceans. After your Child Receives their Blue Ocean Explorer Recognition Rating, they can move on to Sessions 2 and 3, which are all about snorkeling. In sessions 2 and 3, they will learn all there is to know about Snorkel Equipment and snorkeling in a confined water environment to earn their Snorkel Explorer Rating and say they are a part of the A-1 Aqua Team and eligible to participate in an incredible Swim with the Fish Snorkel Diving Experience at the Denver Downtown Aquarium.
Stay tuned for more exciting information about this amazing program.
