Step 2: Open water diving

What happens after my classroom training is complete?

Once you've completed your classroom and pool training, you'll need to perform your open water training.

You will repeat the same skills you learned in our swimming pool, only this time they will be performed in the open water.

Because your pool skills have been mastered and the academic material is still fresh in your mind, we recommend that you complete your open water training soon after completing your last pool session.

Step One: E-Learning + Pool Training

 
E-learning

E-learning allows you the convenience of studying online and virtually eliminates the majority of time you would normally spend in the classroom. You'll take your quizzes online, arrange for a quick review at the store and focus on the pool training at our store.

 

Course Fee

We offer a wide variety of beginning classes including: weeknights, weekends, occasional daytime classes and private instruction. Our fees range from $170* to $365 (private lessons)*, depending on the class you select. Please ask one of our crew members about the course that fits your needs and budget.

Please note: the PADI eLearning $120 online fee is an ADDITIONAL FEE paid directly to PADI. You may sign up for PADI eLearning here.

Fee Includes

  • Pool instruction.
  • Use of Scuba Equipment & Exposure suit.
  • NO EQUIPMENT PURCHASE NECESSARY, although we highly recommend your own mask, fins, snorkel and booties.

In other words, there is no equipment purchase required for the class and pool!

We provide Special Student Pricing on the purchase of mask, snorkel, fins and booties. This offer is valid 30 days from the end date of your Confined Water Training.

GOLD PLUS WEEKEND COURSE

 

This course begins on Friday evening and continues through Saturday and Sunday. The following times may vary if there is more than one group. Please call for specific times.

TIME
Friday night: 6-10 p.m. or 6:30-10:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

You will complete all of your classroom and confined water dives during one Friday evening and two consecutive Saturdays.

TIME
Friday night: 6-10 p.m. or 6:30-10:30 p.m.
1st Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
2nd Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

2nd Sunday: 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

If you are unable to attend any of our regularly scheduled courses, we can customize a program to meet your special needs. Please call and let us arrange a scuba course JUST FOR YOU!
