A-1'S EXTENDED RANGE DIVER COURSE

Why take this course?

This course provides training and experience required to competently utilize air for dives up to one hundred and eighty (180) fsw that requires staged decompression, utilizing Nitrox mixtures or oxygen during decompression.

What do I need to start?

  • Certified TDI Advanced Nitrox and TDI Decompression Procedures diver.
  • Have a minimum of 100 logged dives, of which 25 must be deeper
    than 100 fsw.
  • Minimum age of eighteen (18).

Required equipment

At least three Enriched Air Nitrox compatible first stage and single second stage regulators, one with 6-7 ft. hose, and one oxygen clean deco regulator, all with submersible pressure gauges, redundant depth and timing devices, dive computer recommended, BCD with power inflator suitable for double cylinders, ascent reel with min. 25 lb. lift bag, adequate exposure protection, slate, 2 line cutting devices, underwater lights, TDI Extended Range text.

Course Schedule

Two nights class & pool and a minimum of 100 minutes bottom time
over four open water dives deeper than 130 feet.

Course Fee

$500. Includes use of EANx cylinders, weights, Rock Lake entry fee and TDI certification fee.
Transportation, lodging, meals not included.

Class size

Minimum 2, maximum 4 students.
