FIRST AID, CPR AND EMERGENCY OXYGEN COURSE

Course Overview

A dive emergency is rarely a single event. More often than not, separate small problems compound to create a larger diving emergency requiring specialized first aid care.
Our DAN program teaches you how to properly administer first aid and address multiple problems in and efficient manner with skill and confidence. The program integrates the knowledge and skills from the DAN Basic Life Support: First Aid and CPR, AED use and Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries.

LIONFISH PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

In recent years Lionfish were accidentally introduced to the waters of the Caribbean. They are not endemic and their eating habits have had dire effects on fish life throughout the Caribbean. Lionfish have become more than just a “pest”, they are creating havoc in our oceans and some have had the misfortune of coming into direct contact resulting in a painful sting. Here is a short video from DAN regarding first aid suggestions.
